A sequel for the queer film “Red, White, & Royal Blue” is in the works, Prime Video confirmed Friday.

In a series of tweets, the film's account confirmed the follow-up to the 2023 movie with Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine reprising their roles.

"Fancy another slice ... in the business of making history and sequels," the film's X account said in the caption. 

Based on the book of the same title by Casey McQuistion, “Red, White, & Royal Blue” follows the story of Alex Claremont-Diaz (Perez), the first son of the US president, who falls in love with UK Prince Henry (Galitzine).

The film tackles various topics such as gender, race, politics, among others while revolving on the love of Alex and Henry.

Prime Video has yet to give more details about the film's release date.

“Red, White, & Royal Blue” is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
