The Baeksang Arts Awards, one of the longest-running and prestigious entertainment award shows in South Korea, has unveiled the list of nominees for its 60th edition this year.

Launched in 1965, the Baeksang Arts Awards recognizes excellence in film, television, streaming service programs and theater. It was introduced by Chang Key-young, founder of the newspaper Hankook Ilbo whose pen name was Baeksang.

The nominees were selected by a panel of 60 experts among content that were released from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, according to a report from English-language Korean entertainment news portal Soompi.

The winners will be announced on May 7.
