MANILA — Actress-host Camille Prats gifted her son Nathan a purity ring as they attended a Purity Ball together, where attendees pledged to reserve their purity until marriage.

Their mother-and-son bonding at the solemn event was seen in photos uploaded on Prats' social media account. They were also joined by the actress' stepson, Ice.

"Oh my boy you are indeed growing and I can no longer help it! But by God’s grace, He has given us clear instructions on how we can walk with Him through His Word," she wrote in the caption. "We made a vow together as mom and son to stay pure until he finds the one whom he wants to bring to God to spend the rest of his life with." 

The actress emphasized that to remain celibate until marriage is a form of obedience to God and "obedience brings blessings."

Prats' post garnered positive reactions from netizens, including fellow celebrity moms Miriam Quiambao and Iya Villania.

“Congrats Camille and Nathan! This is intentional parenting,” Quiambao wrote.

“Wow mars, these boys are going to be such a blessing to their future wives,” Villania added.

Nate is Prats' son with her late husband Anthony Lingsangan. Aside from him and Ice, the former child star also has two more children with her second husband VJ Yambao — daughter Nala and son Nolan.
