MANILA  -- During the "The Voice" teens episode on Saturday, Kamp Kawayan's coach Bamboo Mañalac received a surprise video message from former 'The Voice' coach Lea Salonga.

"Hey Bamb, it's me yeah we're all here and just wanted to congratulate you for an incredibly good season on 'The Voice' on the various versions of the show and for being the only one of the original four that has done every single season," Salonga said.

"You are absolutely excellent in finding talent that is unique, that is singular and such a wonder watching the people that you've mentored be able to find their footing in an industry that is fickle. You have been incredible as a comrade as a friend, as a coach on this wonderful show," she added.

"Of course, you already know the drill I really don't need to give you any advice on who to pick. You have been so great at following your gut,so all I can say is just keep doing more of that and I wish you the very very best. I miss you all! Very much," she said. 

Salonga and Mañalac were among the pioneer coaches of the singing reality competition franchise together with Sarah Geronimo and Apl.de.ap.
