MANILA (UPDATED) -- Thai actors Krist Perawat and Singto Prachaya will reunite for a new boys' love series, GMMTV announced Tuesday.

During the Thai entertainment company's "Up And Above" Part 2 event, Krist and Singto revealed that the series will be titled "The Ex-Morning" but the release date was not yet announced.

In "The Ex-Morning", Pathapi (Krist) is a TV personality who is trying to revive his career after a scandal circulated online.

He will get help from a producer named Tamtawan (Singto) but things from their past will unfold as they work together.

Krist was glad to be together with Singto noting how this will make their fans, also known as PERAYAs, happy.

"This makes the PERAYAs so happy. We've grown. It's a comeback. The crew is the same as 'SOTUS' ... with new things which are Godji and the other cast. 

Aou is fixed for the role. We are rivals in the show," he said.

Singto felt that they've grown as artists and gained new experiences since they were together onscreen.

"On the series, it's quite challenging. It's been a long time since we starred together, But we've gained much experience since then," he said.

"The Ex-Morning" is written by Aof Noppharnach and directed by Lit Samajarn.

Krist and Singto belong to the so-called "holy trinity" of the Thai boys' love (BL) series along with Off Jumpol and Gun Atthaphan for "Theory of Love" along with Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom for "Dark Blue Kiss."

They were first paired in "SOTUS" as Arthit and Kongpob. The series revolves around Kongpob (Singto), a freshman engineering student who stood up against the hazing activities of school's organization.

Kongpob will later develop feelings towards his senior and hazing team leader Arthit (Krist) as he navigates the application process of their organization.

A follow-up series titled "SOTUS S" was released in 2017.

Krist and Singto was last seen together in "I'm Tee, Me Too" in 2020 with Tay and New along with Off and Gun.

The reunion project became possible after Singto recently returned as one of GMMTV's artists this year.
