MANILA -- Thai actor and "Under Parallel Skies" lead star Win Metawin got a lot of buzz while on a 2-day visit to Manila -- from social media platforms, to live television, to back to back on-ground events.

Win and his team arrived in Manila early morning on Monday, April 1.

They had a bit of a rest then the Thai actor went straight to junket interviews with selected media platforms.

He then proceeded to scheduled back-to-back mall events. First stop was at the cinema lobby of Mall of Asia in Pasay City where Win was greeted by screaming fans.

It was just a short and snappy meet-and-greet and Win took his time to thank all his Filipino fans who gave him a warm welcome.

Next stop was the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati where Win was overwhelmed to see fans all the way upto the third floor of the mall.

“You know everytime I come here to meet all the fans, they always give me the energy like so powerful,” he said.

Day 2 began with Win guesting on ABS-CBN’s noontime program "It’s Showtime" with his "Under Parallel Skies" co-star Janella Salvador. This was his first live TV guesting in the Philippines.

“Yes, I had so much fun. It was great, it was my first time to get in the show here in the Philippines!” he said.

After ‘Showtime’, Win and Janella had a quick change for their grand media conference at the Hilton Hotel in Pasay City.

Joined by their director Sigrid Bernardo and executive producer Richard Juan, Janella and Win answered questions from the local press.

From shooting in Hong Kong, to unforgettable outtakes, conversations and bonding sessions, Janella and Win shared much of their experience in making their new movie.

Capping off the fun and light media huddle, Win surprised Janella with a birthday cake. Janella turned 26 last March 30.

Janella and Win proceeded to the next function room to shoot some content materials for the promotion of their movie.

At around 7PM Tuesday night, Win flew back to Bangkok.

It was a whirlwind schedule but Win has his back-up energy all day long.

The production team behind the movie was able to maximize his stay in Manila to promote his first international project.

Win will be back in Manila on the 16th for the much-awaited premiere night of the movie.
