MANILA -- Friendship over?

Singer-actress Jayda Avanzado confirmed to Boy Abunda that she had a "disagreement" with her former best fiend Francine Diaz.

“Siguro po, Tito Boy, to be perfectly honest with you, nagkaroon din po ng parang disagreement po sa amin ni Francine and mga ibang bagay na hindi namin pagkaka-unawaan,” she said in an interview with Boy Abunda on his GMA-7 show "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

Without getting into details, Jayda said she and Diaz privately discussed their misunderstanding and described their friendship now as civil.

"Ito masasabi ko po, without, you know, elaborating so much on all the details, we were able to talk about it po and naging maayos naman po yung usapan na ’yun. So kumbaga, we’re at a place where we’re civil," she said.

In the same interview, Jayda also opened up about another young actress, Andrea Brillantes.

“Andrea, actually, I might say like na hindi naman po kami sobrang close or anything. It’s really more of we are in the same circles na.  We’re in the same industry. And we have the same stylist actually, so kaya po kami nagkikita," singer said.

But Jayda clarified that there is no rift between them. “Hindi po. We were in the same circle of friends po so parang ’pag nagkikita po kami sa event, parang nagkakataon po na nagkakasama po kami. And maayos naman po 'yung pakikitungo niya po sa ’kin, so para po sa ’kin, I reciprocate that and I was raised that way to.  Kailangang makisama po ako sa lahat ng tao po sa industriya, lalo na kung maayos po sila sa akin."

When asked if she still hoping to regain her friendship with Diaz, she said: “Para po sa akin, I think I'm at a point as young adult para po sa akin, wherever life takes us... if life’s destiny is for us to come back together as friends, I willingly welcome that."
