MANILA -- From their gala event on the ground floor to Cinema 2 of SM Megamall, fans were running, screaming and holding their phones up as Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador and Thai actor Win Metawin made their way to the premiere of their movie ‘Under Parallel Skies’.

Metawin was obviously overwhelmed with the amount of love his fans have shown as he thanked them for showing up to his movie premiere. Same goes with Salvador whose fans showed force with their tarps, fansigns and more.

“It’s been such a long journey for both of us and the whole team of ‘Under Parallel Skies’ since nagsimula kami sa movie, and it’s something that we’re really proud of for everyone to see,” Salavador said.

Metawin shared his experience to his fellow Thai actors and invited them to come see his movie. As for his working experience with the Filipino team, he said: “Very good, very nice. It was like a dream come true for me. You know I always dream to work with international actress.”

The movie ran for a good one hour and 50 minutes of pure emotional rollercoaster -- from funny lines, to kilig moments, to countless kissing scenes. Salvador and Metawin also showed off their acting chops in some scenes. The two, together with director Sigrid Bernardo, received applause and cheers from the audience after the closing billboard.

“I love it, I love it,” said Metawin, who was obviously happy with the way the Filipino audience reacted to the movie as well as Salvador who got so much reactions after seeing their kissing scenes.

“Parang ang dami nang gustong manabunot, may bumabatok na nga sa akin sa likod,” Salvador said.

"Under Parallel Skies" opens in cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, April 17.
