MANILA — Gerald Anderson is back in the hardcourt as he leads the Philippine team that will compete in The Asian Tournament 2024 in Guandong, China.

But the Kapamilya actor is literally juggling his schedule as he switches from basketball to “Buy Bust.”

Anderson revealed that Friday, April 12, is the first taping day of his upcoming project “Buy Bust,” the sequel to Anne Curtis’ hit action movie with Erik Matti back in 2018.

“Parang warm-up siya kasi bumabalik ako sa action scenes namin ni Anne and keeps me in shape,” Anderson said.

Finally cameras will start grinding after being delayed for a year. He said the story will take off from where it left during the first “Buy Bust.”

“Medyo, parang ganun. It’s the same characters and iba lang ‘yung mga challenges. Nakaka-pressure din kasi it’s a big production. I believe Netflix is a part of it, ipapalabas sila dun,” he said.

Anderson wasn’t able to escape when he was asked for his reaction when his current girlfriend Julia Barretto crossed paths with his former girlfriend Bea Alonzo during the surprise birthday party for former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan.

He candidly joked why we asked him that in the middle of a basketball practice, but the actor budged and answered the question..

“Ganun talaga. Time heals, basta moving forward lahat,” he said.
