MANILA -- Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings, known as Snorene in the hit series "Can't Buy Me Love" alongside Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, recently shared their bittersweet sentiments as they say goodbye to their characters Irene Tiu and Snoop in the series, as the show comes to an end. 

Racal expressed her gratitude towards Star Creatives for pairing her with Jennings, highlighting the joy of working with a talented and well-connected co-star. 

She also mentioned the creative team for conceptualizing their characters and storyline, enabling them to bring their scenes to life.

Jennings, on the other hand, expressed his overwhelming gratitude to director Raymund Ocampo, acknowledging the collaborative effort that went into creating the dynamic between his character and Maris' in the series.

He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to work alongside Racal in developing their on-screen chemistry.

During the finale press conference, directors Mae Cruz Alviar and Henry King Quitain shed light on the storyline of Racal and Jennings as Snoop and Irene, revealing that their characters' subplot was carefully planned from the conceptualization stage of "Can't Buy Me Love."

"Sa simula palang ng conceptualization ng Can't Buy Me Love mayroon talaga na naka plot na talaga kami na sub plot ng kwento. It was already formulated from the start," Quitain said.

Racal and Jennings' portrayal of Snoop and Irene resonated with viewers, garnering a strong following and love for their characters. 

The duo teased a new project in the works, hinting at an exciting venture that will showcase their on-screen chemistry once again.

“Abangan nalang nila! Hopefully this year may aabangan sila this year,” Racal said.
