K-pop singer Taeyong of NCT came back as a soloist on Monday, releasing his sophomore extended play (EP) "Tap" alongside the music video for its single of the same title.

Comprised of six tracks, "Tap" is the 28-year-old idol's newest solo material following his debut EP "Shalala" in June 2023.

The other songs on the EP are "Moon Tour," "Run Away," "Ape," "Ups & Downs" and "404 Loading."

Ahead of the comeback, Taeyong held a two-day concert in Seoul over the weekend, which was attended by the other NCT members, Woozi of SEVENTEEN, and Seulgi of Red Velvet.

The artist, whose full name is Lee Tae-yong, debuted in 2016 as the leader of NCT, a boy band whose over 20 members are divided into various sub-groups. Taeyong, in particular, performs under NCT U and the Seoul-based NCT 127.

In 2019, Taeyong also joined SuperM, a supergroup comprised of members from other boy bands in his label SM Entertainment.
