(UPDATE) It was a dream come true for celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola as they finally got their church wedding on Thursday, February 15, almost three years after they first tied the knot.

The church wedding was held at Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan and was officiated by Father Tito Caluag.

Mendiola's family was finally able to attend their daughter's special day along with Manzano's parents, multi-awarded actress Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano, and stepfather Ralph Recto.

Principal sponsors include ABS-CBN CEO and president Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, Manzano’s manager June Rufino, Swatch’s Virgie Ramos, and Star Magic’s Alan Real, among others.

Mendiola was particularly elated to be with her whole family, as they weren’t able to attend their civil wedding back in 2021.

Manzano’s stepbrother Ryan Recto is one of the best men and Mendiola’s sister Megan Tawile was one of the matrons of honor. 

Actress Alex Gonzaga and her husband, Batangas councilor Mikee Morada, served as the candle bearers at the wedding.

Mendiola earlier teased moments with Manzano and their daughter as they celebrated Valentine's Day in Palawan.

Mendiola earlier confirmed that they would have a church wedding.

“It’s an intimate wedding again, we’re not really hiding it but we’re not putting it our there naman. This time kasi, si Luis nga sweet eh, sabi niya I want you to have your wedding of your dreams, with your family and with the Lord,” Mendiola previously told ABS-CBN News. 

Mendiola and Manzano first got married in a civil wedding in February 21, 2021 in Batangas. 

The couple welcomed the arrival of their first child in December 2022.
