After years of fancasting, Marvel Studios has finally revealed the cast of the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie in an Instagram post released on Valentine's Day.

Pedro Pascal, fresh off the success of "The Mandalorian" and "The Last of Us", will lead Marvel's First Family as Reed Richards a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four.

At his side will be "Napoleon" and "Mission Impossible" actress Vanessa Kirby who will play Susan Richards a.k.a. The Invisible Woman.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who recently won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in the comedy-drama series "The Bear", will play Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing, Reed's closest friend and the muscle of the FF.

Lastly, British actor Joseph Quinn, who played Eddie Munson in the fourth season of the Netflix series "Stranger Things", will play Johnny Storm a.k.a. the Human Torch - a role that was first played by Chris Evans in the Tim Story FF movies in 2005 and 2007, and Michael B. Jordan in the failed 2015 reboot.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Fantastic Four comic book is considered one of the most successful Marvel creations in the 1960s and introduced characters such as Doctor Doom, the Inhumans, Black Panther, the Kree, Skrulls, Galactus the World Devourer, and his herald, the Silver Surfer.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige earlier told Entertainment Weekly that the Fantastic Four is "the foundation for everything that came after in the comics."

"There's certainly been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the storytelling of the MCU. And that's something that is really exciting for us. People will start to hear more about that soon. We plan on that being a big pillar of the MCU going forward, just the way they've been in the comics for 50 or 60 years," he said.

Helmed by WandaVision director Matt Shakman, the new Fantastic Four movie hits heaters July 25, 2025.
