Friends, family members, and colleagues showed support for Enrique Gil during the special advanced screening of his comeback movie "I am not Big Bird".
 
In the movie, Enrique plays heartbroken Luis who flew to Thailand with his friends but was then followed, chased, and hunted down by Thais because they though he was "Big Bird" - a well-known and well-endowed porn star.
 
Laughter and cheers echoed inside the cinema with some scenes that are too daring yet very fresh to see Enrique do.

Quen has been known to do drama movies ("Seven Sundays") and romantic-comedy films with his on-screen partner Liza Soberano ("My Ex and Whys" and "Alone/Together"), and this is the first time the Kapamilya actor dabbled in comedy.
 
After the screening, Quen, his co-stars Nikko Natividad, Pepe Herrera and Red Ollero, and the whole team received thunderous applause and congratulatory cheers from the audience.
 
But Quen had an apology to his mother.

ABS-CBN News caught up with him after and he explained, “Sa mga scenes siyempre, I’m sure nagulat si Mama dito. But she’s cool with it.”

Bambi, Quen’s mother, revealed that her son didn’t tell her anything about the movie prior to the screening. A bit shy to speak on camera, she said, “I’m speechless.”
 
A family friend and owner of the famous "Sonya’s Garden" in Tagaytay City, Sonya Garcia said she enjoyed the film and seeing Enrique in a new genre.

Garcia is Enrique’s friend and mentor when it comes to developing the farm that the actor has acquired.
 
“He’s such a darling. I love it. I’ll tell everyone about it, they should see it. He deserves a standing ovation,” Garcia said.
 
Breathing a sigh of relief backstage after the screening, Quen said, “It feels amazing, I’m just excited for everybody to see the film.”
 
"I Am Not Big Bird" is a joint production of Black Sheep, ANIMA and Enrique’s own production company Immerse Entertainment.
