In March 2023, photos and videos of South Korean actor Choi Woo-shik filming a project in Navotas City circulated on social media.

Almost a year later, Netflix revealed that the shoot was for Choi's crime series "A Killer Paradox," which premiered last February 9 on the streaming platform.

In fact, Netflix recently dropped a two-minute clip from the show's eighth episode, showing the scenes that Choi filmed in Navotas and neighboring Manila.

One scene even depicts Choi's character, Lee Tang, working at a fishport.

Based on a webtoon of the same title, "A Killer Paradox" is about Lee Tang, who is tailed by detective Jang Nam-gam (played by Son Suk-ku) after he accidentally kills a man.

Just as Lee decides to turn himself in, he learns that his murder victim is actually a serial killer, prompting him to turn into a self-styled criminal punisher.

Apart from "A Killer Paradox," Choi is known for starring in the Oscar-winning film "Parasite" and romance drama "Our Beloved Summer."
