MANILA -- As anticipation builds for the Grand Biniverse concert of Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, the show’s directors gave fans a first look at the unique stage design for the Nov. 16-18 show at the Araneta Coliseum.

In an exclusive interview, directors Mickey Perz and Jon Moll shared insights into the innovative stage layout that promises a fresh, immersive experience compared to previous BINI concerts.

“For this one, we wanted to throw a big party. That’s the basic idea of everything. We wanted to go to Araneta, and this is a big celebration,” shared Moll.

“To be able to fully achieve that feeling, we thought of putting BINI at the center. Usually, there’s a proscenium-style concert with a stage and everyone in front. Minsan there’s a ramp in the center, and they just go in and out; here, there’s no ‘in and out.’ BINI will be at the center of everything for the entire show—it’s a 360 set, and everything will be adapted to that idea,” he added.

Perz added, “Since it’s 360, one of the things we wanted to cater to is every side. Compared to previous Biniverse shows where we just went straight, this time we want to entertain every single side. You don’t actually have a back, because at your back, there will always be people. That’s what makes it different.”

The directors said BINI members were involved in the show’s planning process.

“One thing I really love about this concert is the process we went through to put it together,” said Moll. “The 360 idea involved a lot of collaboration, but the concepts, songs, and production numbers started with BINI. This is like the first project where we began with a deck presentation from the girls, so everything was built around their ideas. It’s very personal and very BINI.”

With a 40-foot-wide stage diameter, the setup aims to bring fans as close as possible to the performers.

“It’s really big, and as an audience member, you’ll feel like you’re almost touching them,” said Perez, describing the intimate fan experience they hope to achieve.

Moll acknowledged the technical challenges of creating such a dynamic setup.

“This is definitely out of my comfort zone. Super. For everyone who works with us—those handling LED, programming lasers, special effects—this setup is a real challenge,” he admitted.

With a design that brings BINI closer to their fans from every angle, Grand Biniverse is set to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the group’s dedication to delivering a truly immersive and inclusive concert.
