MANILA - Back again gracing the Philippine stage as a solo performer, Korean pop artist Kim Yugyeom gave Filipino fans another memorable concert experience.

Yugyeom held last Sunday, November 3, 2024, the Manila leg of his TRUSTY tour at the Skydome in SM North Edsa.

Yugyeom’s setlist showcased a mix of tracks from his debut extended play (Point of View: U) and his first studio album as a soloist (Trust Me), with the crowd treated to an array of his signature smooth vocals and sharp dance moves.

The concert kicked off with a subdued yet heartfelt performance of When U Fall, setting an intimate tone before he quickly ramped up the energy with fan favorites like Running Through the Rain, Lolo, and Wooyayaya.

"Thank you so much for giving me your precious time," Yugyeom told the gathered crowd glowing in green, the color associated with GOT7 fandom.

"Moving forward, though I can't express through words, I'll make sure that I'll improve every time so that you could be proud of me… more and more of next level."

Feeding off the crowd's infectious energy, Yugyeom cranked up the party mode during the remaining parts of his concert, belting one song after another with dynamic and sometimes provocative choreography.

Some of the highlights include his performances of Be Alright, Summer Blues, Love the Way, and Wuh.

Yugyeom also performed an unreleased song, which according to him he hopes to release soon.

The GOT7 maknae (youngest member) ended his concert in high intensity with performances of his group's hit songs, 1+1 and Hardcarry.

Meanwhile, Filipino fans made sure the Manila leg of TRUSTY tour was a memorable one as they surprised Yugyeom with an advanced birthday greeting. His birthday is on November 17.

A "Happy Birthday" banner was unfurled after an emotional fan-made video bearing Yugyeom's journey as an artist was shown.

Fans also gave Yugyeom a birthday cake.

"I'm really surprised… thank you so much," Yugyeom said. "I'm not the type of guy who celebrates birthdays… thank you so much. I feel so good right now, I can't describe it in words. "

Yugyeom first held a solo concert in Manila last August 2022. He also visited last January 2023 as part of AOMG's world tour. He was also among the artists who performed in Manila during the K-MAGIC concert last October 2024.
