“Ang laki ng influence nila sa akin, 'yung BINI in general. Kasi before sa Isabela, mas ako 'yung tumatawa sa mga jokes. Hindi ako 'yung joker. Pero ngayon, I’m the joker,” Sheena candidly admits.

“Day by day.” she said.

We asked Sheena if just by merely looking at her sisters in BINI’s body language, can she already tell if someone is going through something?

“Definitely,” she said, but quickly added, “Kahit ramdam namin, we still wait for that member to open up. Ayaw naman namin na kahit close-close na kami, ayaw namin na 'uy share mo na 'yan.' We’re still sensitive about those topics. Pero we feel each other, and as much as possible we help each other. Especially natugma na may ganap kami, tapos need na lumabas sila tapos may pinagdadaanan, sasaluhin namin 'yung members na 'yun.”

“Actually hindi ako makapaniwala na ako 'yung inaano nila na nagpauso noon. Kasi nagvi-viral na naman 'yung ‘eyyy’ before, pero feeling ko mas nag-viral siya nung nakilala sa akin dahil sa ‘eyy ka muna eyyy’ na video ng Bloom, tapos doon na lagi fino-focus.”

How she sees herself 10 years from now
She maybe the unserious and funny one, but Sheena is definitely serious about her dreams for her family.

Her brother and grandmother are still residing in her hometown in Isabela. But she has bigger dreams for her family.

“I want na tumira na sila with me sa Manila. Kasi I know itong work ko, gusto ko siyang patagalin. Gusto ko pa siyang pahabain pa. So that means, mas matagal na magse-stay ako sa Manila, mas matagal na magkakahiwalay kami.”

She added: “Yung kuya ko, gusto ko na ring pag-aralin dito sa Manila. Tapos 'yung lola ko feel ko naman na she can survive here. Gusto ko magkaroon ng kumare si lola dito sa Manila.”

“Yes,” she said, adding she also misses just doing nothing. “Actually kahit nasa Isabela pa po ako, laking bahay lang po ako. Kaya po siguro ako lumaking introvert. Sa bahay lang po talaga ako, like baby ako dun.”

One good thing about Isabela, aside from her loving family, are her true-blue childhood friends.

“They never left me. The best talaga sila. True friends, I’m so grateful na mayroon sila kasi mayroon akong inuuwian,” she said.

Life maybe different now compared to before, and Sheena has her eyes set on a brighter future with BINI and other things. We asked her, where does she see herself 10 years from now?

“I still see myself here sa industry na ito. Still doing BINI, still doing ‘Da Coconut Nut’ even when I’m 30 years old,” she said.
