MANILA -- Actor Coco Martin recently shared his admiration and pride for his longtime girlfriend, actress Julia Montes, after seeing the trailer for her new series, "Saving Grace."

Martin, known for his lead role in "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" and his work as a director and producer, couldn’t hide his excitement over Montes’ latest project. 

“Sobrang proud, at ako din sobrang proud sa kanya kasi nakita ko na 'yung trailer ng 'Saving Grace,' grabe sabi ko parang pelikula. Galing ng mga directors and actors,” he expressed.

Martin also acknowledged the deep bond and support they share, emphasizing how much Montes’ encouragement means to him in his career. 

“Nakakatuwa kasi ramdam na ramdam ko 'yung pagmamahal niya sa akin sa lahat ng ginagawa ko, mapa-pelikula o soap opera at sa pagpo-produce ko,” he said.

Reflecting on the strength of their relationship, Martin highlighted how supportive and harmonious their partnership is. 

“Ang sarap na alam mo mayroon kang katuwang na alam mong mahal ka, sinuportahan ka tapos give and take kayo. Nagbibigayan, walang inggitan, walang kumpetisyon,” he shared. 

Their low-key, private relationship, he said, keeps them away from unnecessary drama. 

“Tahimik, tahimik ang buhay, walang intriga. Sabi ko nga, the more na tahimik ka, the more na ito ka lang, private ka lang, mas nakakaiwas ka sa ikasisira ng buhay mo or ikasisira ng relasyon,” he said.

In 2023, Martin and Montes revealed they had been in a relationship for over a decade.
