JC de Vera signs new contract with ABS-CBN; enjoys being a 'girl dad'

MANILA -- Actor JC de Vera has sealed his place as a Kapamilya after signing a new contract with ABS-CBN.

For de Vera, this milestone represents another chance to evolve as an artist and tackle exciting new challenges.

“I'm always looking forward sa contract signing ng ABS-CBN kasi it’s another opportunity for me to grow as an actor to experience a lot sa network kailangan ko ulit mag-ready for another round of challenging roles” de Vera said.

Reflecting on his 21-year career, de Vera shared the biggest challenge he faces: “Siguro 'yung longevity kung paano mo patatagalin 'yung sarili ko sa industry on what to do para maging exciting 'yung career mo.”

Apart from his upcoming projects, de Vera is also busy with his most cherished role: being a father. He proudly calls himself a “girl dad.” 

Currently de Vera and his wife, Rikkah, are expecting their third child.

“Ito nga jinoke ko nung contract signing you know sa mga boss ko. Every time there’s a contract signing, there’s another baby so today itong contract signing, sakto 'yung wife ko is pregnant our third baby,” de Vera laughed. “Kailangan ko talaga maging hands-on para matutunan 'yung ways kung paano mag alaga ng mga babae tinutulungan din ako ng wife ko.”

Fans can look forward to de Vera’s upcoming projects as he takes on new roles and continues his journey as a Kapamilya.
