A star-studded array of guest performers will join Juan Karlos on November 29 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The first is Paolo Benjamin Guico of the popular folk-pop band Ben&Ben. Guico, known for his deeply personal lyrics, worked with Labajo on "Tapusin Na Natin 'To" in 2023, a heartbreaking song about toxic relationships.

Zild Benitez will also join JK on stage. He rose to fame as the bassist and vocalist for IV of Spades, but has subsequently established a successful solo career.

His collaboration with Juan Carlos on "Gabi" from the latter's "Sad Songs and Bulls**t Part 1" album, which was released in 2023, cemented their relationship as composers who wear their hearts on their sleeves.

Their earlier collaboration, "Lunod" (a track they did with Ben&Ben in 2021), deals with emotional anguish and mental health.

The concert will also include Janine Berdin, who rose to prominence as the winner of "It's Showtime's" Tawag Ng Tanghalan second season. Berdin, known for her emotive performances and powerful vocals, teamed with JK on the song "Pancit" in 2022, as part of his three-track "Drop 1 "project.

Moira Dela Torre, widely regarded as one of her generation's best composers, will also perform onstage with JK. Her collaboration with him on "Medyo Ako" from the "Sad Songs and Bulls**t Part 2" album is a moving examination of the curiosity and longing that follows a separation.

Gloc-9, whose rapid-fire rapping style and socially relevant discography have elevated him to the status of OPM icon, completes the lineup. In 2020, he and JK teamed on "Sampaguita," a moving song on the emotional challenges and sacrifices of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).

Gearing up for his major concert, the young hitmaker said, “Right now, I’m just trying to really enjoy the process, focusing on the flow of the whole show and focusing on the things I do have control over, like the setlist. I’ll probably get more nervous as the concert gets closer.”

The Juan Karlos Live concert is produced by Nathan Studios and directed by Paolo Valenciano with Karel Honasan as musical director.
