MANILA -- Regine Velasquez and Piolo Pascual surprised their fans as their long-awaited reunion finally happened on Sunday through the Asia's Songbird's music video for "Someday." 

The more than six-minute music video for the single was uploaded on the official YouTube of Star Music. 

Released last September, "Someday" is one of the tracks for the upcoming album "Reginified," which would feature songs Velasquez previously covered in concerts or on the Sunday variety show "ASAP Natin 'To."

Directed by Dwein Ruedas Baltazar, the MV opened up with Velasquez and Pascual playing a couple who were having heated argument on getting married.

The music video once again proved the chemistry between Velasquez and Pascual who worked in 2007 for a romance film.

Since Velasquez’s transfer to ABS-CBN in 2018, fans have been looking forward to a possible project bringing back the so-called “PioGine” tandem on the big screen.

Their first and last film together, Star Cinema’s “Paano Kita Iibigin,” marked Velasquez’s rare crossover to the Kapamilya network when she was still a contract artist of GMA-7.
