MANILA -- Actor Tom Rodriguez revealed he is now a proud father of a four-month-old baby boy named Korben with his non-showbiz partner of two years.

“I never experienced happiness like this. He is my constant source of inspiration. I keep saying before tumatanda ako but after this I feel younger, more vibrant,” he said in an interview during the press conference for his comeback movie “Huwag Mo Kong Iwan.”

According to Rodriguez, he met his partner  in the United States after his divorce with ex-wife Carla Abellana.

“Wala siya idea about me. Wala connection. She only had an idea after my fans stalked her and she had to private. She is not Filipino,” he explained.

The former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate stressed that while he is not hiding his family, he wishes to keep their life private.

“I an thankful for the work I was given but what I learned the past few years our industry can blur the lines sa personal life. I want to have a clear boundary,” he explained.

Rodriguez will star alongside Rhian Ramos and JC De Vera in “Huwag Mo Kong Iwan.”

The film marks his return to the big screen after going on hiatus in 2022.

“It is a love story but only the circumstances are the antagonist. When I was reading the script, 'di ko nabitawan. I was like, what is this, sa'n pupunta. Ang ganda ng resolutions. Sana ma-experience ng audience na-experience namin. Exciting concept,” he enthused.
