Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/FileMANILA -- BINI's exponential rise in popularity in 2024 has been a blessing for its members, who now have an overflowing portfolio of endorsements, international appearances, and chart-topping hits.

Yet there is a negative side to their "boom" -- at times, their privacy has been compromised.

For Colet Vergara, this is an issue that she takes seriously.

"Parang yang level na yan, doon lumalabas si 'anger' talaga," said Vergara, referring to the fiery character in the Disney-Pixar movie "Inside Out" that Blooms have come to associate with her.

"Pag medyo overboard na po talaga. Yun ang hindi ko ma-take talaga. Kasi siyempre kahit sabihin ng ibang tao na pinasok niyo yan, ganyan ganyan. May personal pa rin naman po kami," she explained.

Vergara shared that in some instances, fans would wait outside her condo building. Her own neighbors would even ask for photos.

The BINI member says she tries to beg off and explain in a nice way, so as not to offend anyone.

Still, Vergara makes it clear that she has nothing but love and appreciation for their Blooms, who have supported them since the very beginning.

"Grabe din po ang support nila sa BINI since Day 1. Naniniwala sila na aabot kami sa ganitong level, pero grabe talaga ang amazing na nawitness nila yung hardship namin ng BINI, from 65 up to hindi na namin ma-count yung Blooms," she said. -- from a report by MJ Felipe, ABS-CBN News
