Scheduled for release on December 3, the series " The Original" is an extended version of the documentary film of the same name, which had a global theatrical release last September, Disney+ said in a press release.

The three-part series "captures Jungkook's unique artistry as he travels to New York, London and Seoul recording, performing and filming music videos and performance films as part of a whirlwind promotional tour for his debut solo album 'Golden,'" Disney said.

It also features nearly 55 minutes of additional content, including performances from Jungkook's "Golden Live On Stage" concert, interviews with his dancers, and behind-the-scenes footage from his shows in the United Kingdom and New York City.

The docu-series joins a growing lineup of BTS content on Disney's streaming platform, including "Are You Sure?!", a travel series featuring Jungkook and Jimin as they unwind in the United States, Japan, and South Korea's Jeju Island.
