Set in the doomsday-fearing year of 1999, "The WONDERfools" follows a group of socially awkward individuals who unexpectedly gain superpowers and band together to fight villains threatening their city's peace, Netflix said in a press release.

Eun-bin, best known for her lead roles in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Castaway Diva," will play the charming and funny Eun Chae-ni, who becomes entangled in unexpected events that grant her superpowers.
