MANILA -- The music video for the single "The Heaven" performed by OPM singer Erik Santos was released over the weekend.

The almost five-minute video was been uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Star Music.

Written and composed by SJ Gandia and produced by Jonathan Manalo, Santos said "The Heaven" is his tribute to his father who passed away a year ago.

"This is my little tribute to my father as we celebrate his first anniversary in heaven on August 10. This song is dedicated to those who are grieving from loss of their loved ones.," Santos previously shared through a social media post.

"The Heaven" was released on digital streaming platforms last August.

Just last May, Santos released his inspirational song "Sa Aking Dasal," which is about finding a ray of hope despite hardships in life.

Last year, Santos also released the songs "Hanggang Sa Huli" and "Kasunod."

In February, Star Music released Santos and Julie Anne San Jose's version of the classic hit "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You."
