MANILA -- Some lucky Filipinos who are based in Calgary got the opportunity to be part of a big scene of the highly-anticipated movie "Hello, Love, Again."

The big scene was shot during their 12th day in Calgary, Canada, where stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards gave ABS-CBN News an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.

"May mga Filipinos pumunta roon to participate and to watch na rin para ma-experience nila, we did this in Hong Kong too, nu'ng nag-Hong Kong, pumunta kami sa Central naman doon," said Bernardo.

"Very accomodating naman din tayo sa kanila, especially Direk Cathy [Garcia Sampana]," added Richards.

In "Hello, Love, Goodbye," Bernardo and Richards also had a big scene at Central Hong Kong with other Filipinos -- which they replicated in "Hello, Love, Again" at the Prince Park in Calgary.

Nonetheless, the team had to manage some onlookers, who were taking videos of the process.

"Important kasi to explain [na] 'di naman sa hindi ka pwede mag-video or you can't watch," said Bernardo. "Siyempre, may mga scenes din na bawal malabas online. So tina-try siyang i-explain ni Direk Cathy, para maintindihan nila where we're coming from."

The changing weather was also a challenge for the team.

Aside from the big exterior scene, Bernardo and Richards had to endure emotionally-packed scenes as their characters Ethan and Joy navigate through their new lives in Canada.

"This is one of the most challenging and fulfilling projects at the moment, sobra kasi we have limited time here, limited staff and crew. We don't want to promise anything but we have a good film," said Richards.

"With this, naniniwala kami sa material, naniniwala kami sa director namin, at naniniwala kami na 'yung mga tao na mare-represent namin especially mga OFWs. Gusto namin i-share 'yung kwento nila sa lahat ng mga makakapanood nito," Bernardo added.
