MANILA  -- The horror film festival is back as Sine Sindak 2024 begins this October.

An annual event dedicated to the love of horror movies, Sine Sindak: Ang Ika-5 Yugto will feature full-length horror films exclusively at SM Cinemas from October 30 to November 5.

This year, Viva Films will have four entries for the much-anticipated event including two Filipino-produced film entries "Pasahero" and "Nanay, Tatay"; and two foreign films, "The Thorn: One Sacred Night" and "House of Sayuri."

During the contract signing ceremony on Thursday, Vincent Del Rosario, president and CEO of Viva Communications Inc., thanked SM Cinema for its continuous support to the Philippines' movie industry over the years.

"Nagpapasalamat kami especially with SM because this is a very special event for us. Since 1986, we are providing films sa SM. I guess this is a culmination, bagong level ba ng partnership kaya very thankful kami sa opportunity na ito and hopefully masuportahan po ninyo and nag-commit kami to promote hindi lang ang mga movies na kasama dito sa Sine Sindak kung 'di lahat ng mga pelikula na kasama para po masaya," Del Rosario said.

Aside from the four entries from Viva Films, Sine Sindak will also feature "My Mother's Eyes," "VHS/Beyond," "Mads," and "Tenement" completing the eight movies in the festival.

For only P150 per screening, moviegoers can enjoy these spine-chilling treats, and for only P300, they will get all-day access to all these entries.

You can buy tickets in advance from October 9.
