MANILA —OPM singer TJ Monterde announced Wednesday that he will hold a concert, following the milestones he achieved with his hit song "Palagi."

The concert will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on February 1 with some special guests.

"Palagi" rose to the No. 1 spot in the Top Philippine Songs chart of Billboard Philippines and was followed by former chart toppers "Sining" by Dionela and Jay R and "Dilaw" by Maki.

Following the success of his song, Monterde looked back at a moment in April 2024 when he doubted himself.

"Nung una, nung nag-release ako ng mga songs, hindi siya pumi-pick up, walang masyadong nakikinig, it's not the same. Sobra 'yung doubts talaga na feeling ko 'Lord, parang tapos na 'yung songs ko.' I think I've written my songs already," he said in the video.

To his surprise, the song was a hit and his wife gave a heartfelt message following the new milestone.

"Congratulations, my love! Even over a year after its release, 'PALAGI' continues to make us feel like we’re falling in love over and over again. Thank you for your gift of music and for being you. I am soooo proud of you. I love you palagi," she said.

"Palagi" gained popularity on social media, with netizens using the hit for their special moments with their loved ones.
