Photo courtesy of PUBLICITY ASIASouth Korean heartthrob Ji Chang-wook is the new endorser for a local health and wellness brand, the company announced Monday, raising anticipation for the star's potential return to the Philippines.

In a press release, IAM Worldwide revealed the 37-year-old actor as its brand ambassador.

"Ji Chang-wook is a dream come true for IAM Worldwide," Allan Marvin Yu Eder, the company's co-founder and president, said in a statement.

Chang-wook's appointment has raised excitement for a possible return to the country for a brand-sponsored event.

"As an avid fan of Ji Chang-Wook, having my all-time favorite K-actor is truly an honor for us. We cannot wait to welcome him back to the Philippines," IAM Worldwide general manager Joanna Mañego added.

Chang-wook is known for his performances in series such as "The K2," "Backstreet Rookie," "Lovestruck in the City," "The Sound of Magic," and "Welcome to Samdal-ri." He is set to star in the crime drama "Gangnam B-side" beginning November 6.

In August, Ji Chang-wook visited the Philippines for a fan meeting organized by a local clothing brand, which he also endorses.
