MANILA -- Age is just a number for veteran actress Charo Santos-Concio, who is now a proud reservist of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). 

On social media, the actress shared some snaps on Saturday of her graduation rights wearing her military uniform where she received her certificate of completion alongside with other reservist graduates.

"Ako po si Charo, isa nang ganap na Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reservist!" the actress wrote in the caption. 

For the actress, completing the short-term military course is a new achievement. 

"It’s never too late to start something new, to challenge yourself, and to keep on growing. Today marks my graduation from the PAF Reservist training—a journey that was as rewarding as it was challenging. There were moments when I doubted myself, wondering if I could meet the demands, but I embraced every challenge, pushed forward, and found joy in each step of the process," she said. 

According to the veteran actress, joining the military course helped her to discover the true meaning of "love for our country". 

"Through this experience, I have discovered a deeper sense of purpose and a renewed love for our country. Spending these past few weeks alongside my fellow reservists has been an honor, and I hope my story encourages you to pursue your passions, face your fears, and keep moving forward. No matter where you are in life, know that growth is always possible," she added. 

Ending her post, the veteran actress credited the people who helped and guided her to unlock new goals in life.

"Special thanks to 1st ARCEN and Col. Florante Baterina for your leadership and guidance throughout this journey. Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at tiwala," she said.

Aside from completing her military course with the Philippine Air Force, the actress also stars in the hit Kapamilya series "FPJ's Batang Quaipo" where she plays the role of "Lola Tindeng".
