MANILA — For Thai actors Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan, their fan meeting in the Philippines felt like a celebration for the victories of their boys' love (BL) series "Last Twilight."

"Last Twilight" is about the student Mhok (Jimmy Jitaraphol) who signed up to be Day's (Sea Tawinan) caretaker. The latter will learn that he only has 90 days before he completely goes blind.

The series recently received trophies from ContentAsia Awards, Maya TV Awards, and Asian Academy Creative Awards. 

As they end their time with the fans, Jimmy stressed how proud he was watching themselves receive their awards.

"I feel very fulfilled with this project because with 'Last Twilight' we got awards and this is the first time that we saw the video clips that we got the awards," he said.

Sea was touched by fans' support, promising to give his best in his future projects.

"This project really touched my heart ... I love you guys and I promise that I will do my best for all the projects that I will do in the future," he said.

Jimmy stressed how the accolades are a testament that their series left a mark on viewers.

"I feel very happy and proud of my team, especially P'Aof, the director, and the whole team of 'Last Twilight' ... and among the three awards, (one) came from the fan vote. It's a proof and sign that the series in imprinted in their hearts," he said.

The boys' love series genre gained prominence in the Philippines in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Several Filipino titles were made as years progressed.
