This shift was apparent when breakout K-pop boy band ZEROBASEONE sang Maki's "Dilaw" during the Manila leg of their "Timeless World" tour, staged late Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The nine-member group performed the song up to its first chorus near the end of the concert, offering it as a "special gift" for their Filipino fans.

On X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Maki shared a video with the cover, reacting with a meme from "Boys Planet," the reality competition program that formed ZEROBASEONE.

Also on late Saturday, Maki made a guest appearance at the local stop of American band LANY's "A Beautiful Blur" tour at the Philippine Arena, performing "Out Of My League" and "Dilaw."

ZEROBASEONE—whose 2023 debut album "Youth in the Shade" sold 2.2 million copies—is not the first K-pop act to cover "Dilaw." In July, the boy band Blitzers performed the song in a video featured on the 1theK YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Maki is set to mount a two-day solo concert at the New Frontier Theater in late November.
