<p>MANILA — It was a night to remember for Filipino fans as their favorite American pop-rock band LANY returned to the country after two years and performed their hits at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Saturday, October 12.</p><p>LANY definitely gave an “<a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/10/11/american-pop-rock-ban-lany-arrives-in-the-philippines-ahead-of-a-4-day-concert-in-bulacan-and-cebu-916">amazing show</a>,” words they said during their arrival in the country on Friday morning.</p><p>Lead vocalist Paul Jason Klein and drummer Jake Goss were welcomed by their Filipino fans with loud screams as they appeared on stage. In fact I feel that Manila understood LANY before anyone else understood LANY. We owe so much of everything that we have to you. Until we see you agqin we will be thinking about you,” Klein said. </p><p>LANY’s concert in the country is part of the Asian leg of its “A Beautiful Blur&quot; world tour. </p><p>After Philippine Arena, the band will be performing for three nights at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino from October 13 to 15, making LANY the first international artist or group to perform three nights in Cebu. </p><p>Presented by both Live Nation Philippines and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) to promote the Department of Tourism’s “Love The Philippines” campaign, the three-day concert shines the spotlight on Cebu not only as a top tourist destination for its rich historical heritage, vibrant culture, and beautiful sceneries but also as a preferred venue for international concerts, music festivals, and nightlife.</p><p>LANY’s concerts in Cebu are in line with the TPB’s mandate “to market and promote the Philippines domestically and internationally as a world-class tourism and MICE destination, in strategic partnership with private and public stakeholders to deliver a unique high-value experience for visitors, significantly contributing to increased arrivals, receipts, and investments to the country.” </p><p>Formed in 2015, LANY last performed in the country in 2022 for a five-day sold-out concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.</p>
