There may come a time when Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga could become friends again. That time apparently is not now.

Gonzales was a tad vague when asked on Friday's "Tonight With Boy Abunda" whether she would like to be friends with her model-actor ex following their messy breakup earlier this year.

"Ako po, he didn't ask for forgiveness pero I have forgiven him na," she said, before adding that she doesn't want to talk about it.

"Kasi it's all in the past and I live in the now, iyong present po. Tapos na po iyong chapter na iyon sa buhay ko and I just want to move on, move forward. Life goes on."

It was back in February when Gonzales first made public her and Matsunaga's split.

Their intriguing decision to end their relationship made headlines weeks after, with both of them neither confirming nor denying speculation that finances was a factor.

Matsunaga is currently in a new romance with Polish model Karolina Pisarek.

Gonzales was on the late-night talk show to promote "Siargao," the most awarded entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

It was named 2nd best picture, in addition to Paul Soriano taking home the top directing nod and Jasmine Curtis-Smith winning best supporting actress for her role alongside Gonzales and Jericho Rosales.

She also mentioned upcoming projects: a new series titled "The Blood Sisters" and another movie, "The Significant Other," by Joel Lamangan.
