Actress Anne Curtis and celebrity restaurateur Erwan Heussaff waited a full year before their respective schedules matched so they could finally go on honeymoon.

The couple, who got married in November 2017, recently spent an entire month discovering their dream destination, Africa, with an itinerary spanning Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, and Kenya.

Heussaff, who runs a vlog series, shared an intimate glimpse of their long-overdue post-wedding vacation on Thursday through a 10-minute Facebook episode.

Narrated by Heussaff, the vlog chronicles the couple’s travels — from their flights, safari adventure, daring swim atop a waterfall, to their close encounters with the wild.

It also shows their their lodging experience, notably in close proximity to animals that would rouse the couple awake because of their intimidating roars and grunts.

Providing a brief explainer on the threats to endangered animals in Africa, Heussaff also invites viewers of the vlog to consider donating to a wildlife trust dedicated to the protection of elephants and black rhinos.

Curtis and Heussaff have, over the years, become more open about their relationship.

Following their wedding, the actress, in particular, has been quizzed numerous times about plans to become first-time parents.

While it is something they are both looking forward to, Curtis has said they wanted first to enjoy each other’s company as newlyweds.

Then in November on “It’s Showtime,” which she co-hosts, Curtis candidly expressed excitement about motherhood, prompting a tearful moment on the program.
