MAYNILA -- Isang nakakakilabot na pelikula ngayong Pasko ang handog ng TV host-actress na si Anne Curtis sa 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Pagbibida ni Anne, ibang timpla ng horror movie ang mapapanood sa kanyang pelikulang "Aurora" na kinunan pa sa Batanes.

"I love horror films. Actually it's funny kasi while we were shooting the film, tinatanong ko kay Direk Yam (Larnas), 'Direk, bakit 'yung character ko hindi pa sumisigaw?' Kasi 'di ba 'pag horror dapat may sisigaw. Sabi niya, 'Our film is different.' Ibang horror ang ibibigay namin sa manonood ng 'Aurora.' It was really different from other horror films," kuwento niya sa press.

Dahil sa kanyang karakter iikot ang pelikula, ramdam din ni Anne ang pressure sa mga makakalaban sa MMFF 2018.

"Nape-pressure ako kasi sinasabi nila na wala kang kasama, walang all-star cast, but at the end of the day, I hope people will decide to watch the film not because it's me, but because they really want to watch a quality and amazing film," aniya.

Nagbigay saloobin din si Anne sa usapin na posibleng tanghalin siyang best actress sa Gabi ng Parangal ng 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival.

"I did not do this film because I want to win an award; I do it because I love to do film, I love acting. Getting an award, I think, it's just a cherry on the top. Of course you'll be thrilled to receive an award di 'ba?" pahayag pa ni Anne.

Sa darating na Pasko mapapanood ang "Aurora" at iba pang pelikulang kalahok sa MMFF.
