MANILA – ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak, Mark Lopez and Cory Vidanes shared a heartwarming prayer during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special that aired Saturday.

The prayer centered on how grateful the network’s leaders are for all the blessings despite everything that the company went through in the last two years.

“Panginoon, kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa iyo dahil inalagaan mo kami sa palad ng iyong mga kamay. Marami kaming pinagdaanan ngunit hindi mo kami iniwan. Lagi kang may dalang pag-asa at pagkalinga para maibsan ang aming kalungkutan. Patuloy kaming lumalaban dahil ikaw ang ilaw sa aming bawat hakbang,” said Lopez.

Katigbak also gave thanks for the continued support ABS-CBN is getting that enables the company to still be in the service of the Filipino.

“Ikaw po Panginoon ang aming inspirasyon at laging gabay sa aming mga tungkulin. Maraming salamat po sa pagpapadala ng mga taong patuloy na nagtitiwala sa amin – ang aming mga advertisers, partners, mga Kapamilya na tumutulong sa amin, at sa lahat ng aming mga empleyado, artista at news teams, para maging katuwang namin sa pagbibigay ng makabuluhang serbisyo sa aming kapwa Pilipino nasaan man sila sa mundo,” he said.

Vidanes, for her part, is praying for better days ahead, not just for ABS-CBN but for all families who have allowed the network to be part of their households through the years.

“Panginoon, nagpapasalamat po kami sa madaming taon na pinagsamahan ng ABS-CBN at ng pamilyang Pilipino. Ramdam po namin na magkarugtong na ang aming mga buhay, magkaramay sa kalungkutan at bawat hamon ng buhay, magkasama sa saya at sa pagbabahagi ng pagmamahal sa kapwa,” she said.

“Panginoon, tulungan mo ang aming mga Kapamilyang nasalanta ng bagyo. Gawin mo po kaming tulay para matugunan ang kanilang pangangailangan at masamahan sila sa muli nilang pagbangon. Itinataas po namin sa Iyo ang aming dasal na sana mas maging matibay ang samahan ng ABS-CBN at ng pamilyang Pilipino para sa sabay naming paglalakbay tungo sa mas magandang bukas,” she added.

The "Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa't Isa: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2021” marked the second time the network mounted the gathering since the denial of its broadcast franchise.

The holiday tradition had aired for decades via ABS-CBN’s Channel 2, which was forced to shut in mid-2020.
