MANILA – Pia Wurtzbach is looking forward to possibly working with Bea Alonzo again years after they both starred in the ABS-CBN show “K2BU.”

“Challenge 'yun. Parang, paano ko magagawa? Gusto ko siyang maka-work and hopefully baka may maitulong din siya sa akin sa acting. Forte niya iyan. Gamay na gamay na niya 'yan. Baka maturuan din niya ako ng a thing or two sa acting,” she said on “Magandang Buhay” on Tuesday.

In a pre-recorded video message, Alonzo recalled her fondest memories with Wurtzbach when they were still starting in show business.

“Magkasabay kasi talaga kami nag-umpisa ni Pia. Nung pumupunta ako dati sa bahay nila, mahilig siya sa Final Fantasy. Hindi kayo maniniwala. Nung bata kami, boyish iyan. Hindi ko talaga akalain na magiging beauty queen, Miss Universe pa ‘di ba?”

Saying she’s proud of all of Wurtzbach’s achievements, Alonzo said: “I wish you all the best. Parang wala na akong mahihiling pa kundi i-continue mo lang to inspire people and to always be a blessing to everyone. Good luck, Pia.”

Aside from Alonzo, their other “K2BU” co-star Angelene Aguilar, who is now based in the United States, also had a special message for Wurtzbach.

“One of the things I will never forget is nung nag-'ASAP' kami sa Boracay. Nag-video video kami nung Britney Spears kami na kanta. We were with our families. We got to know each other more and we got to hang out. That was really fun and I will never forget that,” she said.

"K2BU" is a teen-oriented series that aired on ABS-CBN in 2002. The show also featured Shaina Magdayao.
