Kapamilya stars dominated Twitter’s 2018 list of most followed and most talked about personalities in the Philippines, according to a year-end report released by the social media platform on Wednesday.

Aside from the top 10 accounts in the Philippines, Twitter also enumerated the celebrities, love teams, movies, and TV shows that generated the most buzz in the past year.

With the exception of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards, the 10 most tweeted about Filipino celebrities were from ABS-CBN: Maymay Entrata, Kisses Delavin, Edward Barber, Donny Pangilinan, Loisa Andalio, Kathryn Bernardo, Maris Racal, and Daniel Padilla.

Similarly, the most popular love teams on Twitter were all from the Kapamilya network, except AlDub. Making the list were MayWard, DonKiss, LizQuen, KissTon, McLisse, KierVi, JaDine, MarNigo, and JoshLia.

ABS-CBN did not just dominate but also topped the lists of the most tweeted about movies and TV programs, with Star Cinema’s “The Hows of Us” and Star Creatives’ “Bagani” ranking first in their respective categories.

Twitter Philippines also released lists for the most tweeted about sports events, athletes, K-pop acts, and brands.
