MANILA -- Coco Martin and Simon "Onyok" Pineda are enjoying their trip to Dubai, which is one of the stops of the thanksgiving tour of their show "Ang Probinsyano."

The tour is the show’s way of thanking fans worldwide as well as a prelude to TFC’s 20th anniversary in the Middle East.

Along with co-stars Pepe Herrera and Yassi Pressman, Martin and Pineda met their fans last December 3 at the Al Nasr Leisureland in Dubai.

Apart from the tour, Martin and Pineda also squeezed in some fun when they went on a desert safari. Here are some of their photos as posted on Instagram.

Despite being stung by a jellyfish during his Siquijor adventure, Kapamilya actor-host Enchong Dee said his time at the beach amid the scorching summer heat was “worth it.”

On his social media accounts, the Pinoy Big Brother host shared clips of his cliff-diving experience at the famous Salagdoong beach of the island province.

“I got sunburned, stung by a jellyfish, and arm bruises after these 30ft jumps but... it’s worth every moment,” he wrote in his posts’ caption.

The actor did not go into details regarding the extent of the effects that jellyfish sting had caused on his body.

In his Facebook post, some locals expressed their gratitude to the actor for promoting the place on his platforms.

“Thank you for promoting our beautiful island, Siquijor,” one netizen wrote.

Another one commented: “Only in our beautiful island of Siquijor. Salagdoong beach is worth to experience.”

Some netizens also expressed their concerns for the actor’s safety after his experience.

“Oi, ingat... I know you’re a good swimmer pero be careful,” a netizen said.

A TikToker said, “Ingat next time, mahal.”

Outside his thriving career in the showbiz industry, Enchong is known by many as a successful entrepreneur.

Last January, Enchong shared in an interview with his fellow PBB host Bianca Gonzalez his motivation of venturing into business.

“At first it was more of, when I was growing up, we don't own anything. I don't own my clothes, I don't own any toys. We don't own anything. I grew up in a very simple family life,” he said.

In the same interview, the actor emphasized the importance of investments, implying that a career in show business has its end.

"At one point people will be moving on from showbiz industry so sabi ko I want to take care of this," he said. “Nandito na ako eh, gusto ko siyang galingan but at the same time the reality is, once you reach a certain age, mababawasan at mababawasan 'yung mga projects na darating sa'yo but I want to be able earn the same way as I've been earning in my peak. So sabi ko, okay I will invest with the things na dumating sa akin."

Just recently, Enchong also revealed in actress-comedian Eugene Domingo’s vlog his dream of becoming a philanthropist, aiming to support the education of less fortunate children.

"When a person is empowered, hindi ka pwedeng tapakan, hindi ka pwedeng insuluthin, because you are an empowered human being," he said.
