The boyband group of Ford Valencia, James Ryan Cesena, and Joao Constancia was named as "Boy band of the Week" after impressing all four judges of "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" on Saturday.

Valencia, Cesena, and Constancia emerged as the strongest group with their performance of Irish boy band Boyzone's "Picture of You"

Comedian Vice Ganda said the group showcased everything that he is looking for in a boy band.

"Tapos na ang contest parang nahanap ko na ang hinahanap ko," the comedian said.

Actor Aga Muhlach congratulated the group, which he said he liked very much.

Ford's mother, Riley Valencia, surprised her son with a heartwarming message since the contestant's father was unable to make it due to his sickness.

Hosted by Billy Crawford, "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
