A week after Janella Salvador accused her former boyfriend and erstwhile “love team” partner Elmo Magalona of physically hurting her, the two crossed paths on Thursday as they pushed through with a work commitment that had been set months prior.

Salvador, 20, and Magalona, 24, are both part of a series of concerts in Canada, dubbed “One Magical Night,” alongside fellow Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

The participation of the “ElNella” tandem in the tour — which has stops in Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto — was announced as early as July this year.

While the two appeared to travel to Canada separately — Salvador was with the group of Bernardo and Padilla, going by photos posted by celebrity hairstylist John Valle — they inevitably encountered each other at a promotional event.

A video posted by the “One Magical Night” Facebook page on Thursday shows Salvador and Magalona seated beside each other as they, along with “KathNiel,” invited Filipinos in Canada to attend their scheduled shows.

It’s not clear whether Salvador and Magalona are on speaking terms, after the actress made public a recent altercation she had with her “Born For You” leading man.

But in her Inquirer interview where Salvador first broke her silence, she said she prefers to no longer work with Magalona.

“We built something beautiful—our friendship, our relationship—but some beautiful things need to come to an end,” she said at the time.
