MANILA—In his mid-30s, Kapamilya actor Coco Martin seems to be enjoying a career apex.

A top-rating primetime series, a new game developing business, a remake of a legendary film, a crack at producing and directing a movie for the first time, and several endorsements are some of the biggest opportunities the "Ang Panday" star received this year.

No wonder the "Ang Probinsyano" leading man wishes for good health and strength come his birthday on November 1.

"Wish ko lang iyong health ko, ito pa rin, malakas at masaya," Martin told reporters during the launch of the "Ang Panday" mobile game, which he helped design and produce.

(I wish for good health. I hope I remain strong and happy.)

The actor said the best gift he could give himself this year would be to ensure that he can continue to provide for all his family's needs.

"As of now, kung ano binibigay sa akin na blessing at opportunity, igra-grab ko. Ayoko palampasin iyong pagkakataon (dahil) napakatagal ko itong hinintay," he said.

(As of now, whatever blessing or opportunity that comes my way, I grab them. I don't want to take them for granted because these are opportunities that I've waited for so long.)

Though turning 36 this year, Martin said he has no plans to be in a relationship yet.

"Ako, saka na. Marami namang time pa," he said.
