MANILA – The anticipated first performance of American singer David Bowden, more known as Pink Sweat$, in the Philippines has been cancelled, the concert promoter announced.

On Saturday, Live Nation Philippines said that the “Pink Sweat$ Presents Pink Moon” show will not be pushed through on September 27 “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

The promoter apologized to the fans, who have secured tickets already to watch Pink Sweat$ perform at the New Frontier Theater.

All tickets bought online will be automatically refunded, according to Live Nation Philippines.

Aside from Manila, he will also be making stops in Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo.

MANILA — The leader of P-pop girl group BINI said on Wednesday that despite the numerous accolades they received since last year, they still feel the pressure while being in the limelight.

Jhoanna Robles or BINI Jhoanna issued the remarks during the awarding ceremony of The Official Philippines Chart where they bagged the Local Artist of the Year award.

"Hindi naman nawawala 'yung pressure. Pero kami kasi as a group, tulad nung sinabi kanina ni kuya TJ [Monterde], pag nag-release ka ng song dapat hindi mo iniisip 'yung chart [at] hindi mo iniisip kung magta-top ka ba," Jhoanna told media.

"Dapat magrelease ka lang ng magrelease basta from your heart. Di ba? Magre-resonate naman 'yan eh," she added.

When asked of their plans for 2025, Jhoanna said more songs are to be expected from the group.

"More music, more collaborations, and sana talaga ma-dominate natin ang international stage," she said.

During their acceptance speech for the Local Artist of the Year award, BINI Jhoanna also told their fellow OPM artists to "continue making the local music scene thrive."
