Angelica Panganiban surprised fans Sunday with a candid revelation tagging fellow Star Magic actress Maja Salvador in her past breakup with ex-boyfriend Carlo Aquino.

Salvador’s name came up during the joint interview of Panganiban, 31, and Aquino, 33, in the September 23 episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice.” They were promoting their upcoming film, “Exes Baggage,” which is set to hit cinemas Wednesday.

Host Vice Ganda asked the former couple what caused them to end their six-year relationship, prompting Panganiban to clarify that she and Aquino actually broke up twice.

The first, she said, was over a “third party.” Similar circumstances led to the second breakup, but this time, she quipped, “Maayos ‘yung panloloko.”

After a volley of playful guesses from Vice Ganda, Panganiban finally confirmed that she was pertaining to Salvador as the woman Aquino left her for after their second try at being a couple.

Panganiban, however, clarified that Aquino’s relationships with her and Salvador never overlapped.

“Iyong una kasi, nalaman ko lang na may gano’n pala. So siyempre, nakakaloka! Nag-break kami,” she began, not specifying a timeline.

Referring to Aquino’s subsequent relationship with Salvador, Panganiban explained: “Siguro gusto niya talagang mag-start nang maayos. Kailangan niyang tapusin nang maayos sa akin. Inamin naman niya. Hindi siya nagloko. Pinutol niya ‘yung sa ‘kin bago siya nagsimula.”

Aquino did not hide his discomfort as Panganiban, who was seated beside him, detailed that episode in their relationship.

He could only muster an affirmative response when Vice Ganda asked whether he did fall in love with Salvador.

When Vice Ganda asked Panganiban whether she ever bore ill feelings toward Salvador, with whom she regularly crosses paths as a fellow Kapamilya star, she readily said, “Hindi kami nagkaroon ng problema.”

Later in the episode, Salvador’s portrait was also shown in the “Tanong Mo, Mukha Mo” segment, where guests are made to ask questions to different personalities.

When Panganiban joked that Salvador’s face in the photo appeared askew, she quickly added: “Walang pamba-bash ha. Magkaibigan kami niyan!”

Aquino, meanwhile, hesitated to ask Salvador a question, but ultimately came up with one that involved the actress’ condominium endorsement. He asked, in jest, why she couldn’t give him a discount when he was looking to buy a unit.

As of writing, Salvador has yet to address Panganiban’s claims of her supposed past relationship with Aquino. The “Wildflower” star remains single, but recently admitted dating, after her 2015 breakup with actor Gerald Anderson.
