MANILA -- Complete with rose petals, a blanket, and a snack basket, "Pinoy Big Brother" teen housemates Kisses Delavin and Edward Barber had a friendly picnic date inside the famous yellow house.

This, after "Barcelona: A Love Untold" stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla picked them to enjoy Big Brother's surprise.

While most of the housemates giggled for Delavin and Barber, Heaven Peralejo seemed puzzled over what was happening.

Prior to the picnic date, Peralejo and Barber admitted that they like each other.

However, they were advised by Big Brother to avoid being too touchy and overly expressive of their feelings as these acts are often frowned upon in Filipino culture. Barber was raised in Germany.

In a private conversation with Big Brother, Peralejo expressed her dismay because apart from Maymay Entrata and Marco Gallo, the rest of them were not allowed to go see the picnic area.

"Ang ganda nung roses, ang ganda nung basket tapos may picnic. So parang sayang naman. Hindi naman sa parang sana ako 'yon, pero sana nandoon kami," she said.

Despite that, Delavin and Barber seemed to have enjoyed the moment, dancing, laughing, and talking about random things.

"Sobra-sobrang nakakatunaw po ng heart na magkaroon po ako ng ganoong date. Kasi in my whole life, I've never had a date like that na fancy tapos parang may picnic siya, tapos si Edward nakabihis pa siya na parang pa-pogi. Sobrang cute lang, Kuya. Natuwa po talaga ako," she said.
