MANILA – “Kaya ‘yan, Bal!”

In this video posted by makeup artist Ericka Maanio, Daniel Padilla can be heard saying this to his rumored girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, on the set of their top-rating series, “La Luna Sangre.”

Fans know that “bal” is their term of endearment, short for “kambal,” or the Filipino word for “twin.”

Moments later, Bernardo is seen wiping tears from her face, prompting Padilla to approach her.

Providing context to her Instagram video, Maanio said Bernardo was initially scared of the gunshot effects that her scene entailed.

At the time, they were working on the scene where Bernardo’s character, Mio, was shot by policemen.

“Natagalan bago na-convince si Kath sa gunshot effect na ito kasi talagang puputok sa dibdib niya ‘yung effect. Super natakot siya kaya eto, umiiyak siya bago kuhaan sa takot. And here comes Mr. DJ (Padilla) to the rescue!” Maanio wrote as the caption to the video.

“Lumapit talaga para palakasin ang loob ng love niya. My gosh! Kinilig talaga ako!”

Maanio posted a second clip showing Bernardo able to execute the much talked about scene in “La Luna Sangre.”
