On Wednesday, Queenie Joy Ocampos from Misamis Occidental defeated seven-day champion Christopher Rodrigueza with her rendition of Regine Velasquez's "Dadalhin."

The 24-year-old nurse got a score of 92.8%, while Rodrigueza, who sang Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You," received 91.8%.

Ocampos said she joined the singing competition to fulfill her dream of becoming a popular singer.
She will return to the "It's Showtime" stage Thursday to defend her title. She needs five wins to advance to the semi-finals.
